Captains and First Officers (Ref: FCR/0910)

Requirement for CAPTAINS: A320 or B767 type rating with at least 1,500 recent hours on type and 5,000 hrs on jet; ICAO valid ATPL with current first class medical .

Requirement for FIRST OFFICERS: A320 or B767 type rating with at least 1,000 recent hours on type and 1,500 hrs on jet; ICAO valid ATPL with current first class medical.

Limited positions exist for exceptionally good and experienced Pilots (only Nigerians) currently not type rated on either A320 or B767 who may be type rated subject to terms. Captains without type rating shall have at least 2,000 recent hours of jet-glass cockpit experience, while First Officers will require at least 1.000 recent hours of jet-glass cockpit experience. Pilots who do not meet this requirement need not apply.

Licensed Engineers (REF: FEN/2410)

We have positions in our Engineering department for experienced Engineers (Expatriate or Nigerians) with NCAA license, B1 and B2 or FAA/ICAO equivalent with considerable experience coupled with good work ethics and safety culture.

Quality is the art of maintaining a safe operation and we seek for experienced Quality Assurance Inspectors in both maintenance and flight operations. Candidates for Quality assurance - maintenance shall be licensed Engineers with at least 5 years experience as Aircraft Maintenance Engineers in a good airline and at least 3 years experience working in the Quality Assurance Department of an airline.
Flight Operations Quality Inspectors shall be licensed Pilots, cabin crew or flight dispatchers with at least 5 years experience in the airline industry and three years in flight operations quality assurance. Use of FDA and ACARs will be an advantage.

Provide technical support for institutionalization of existing experiments in nomadic education delivery (including schools in tents and temporary structures and training of “mobile” teachers; peace and conflict resolution programme - to ensure that, during the dry season, resident farmers and pastoralists share scarce resources and live in peace);
9. Support the domestication, dissemination and implementation of national framework for the integration and development of Almaijiri education into UBE scheme;
10. Ensure that UNICEF protocols are used to resource project activities, and keep accurate and transparent accounts of all inputs and resource use;
11. Facilitate institutionalization of systems for effective and accurate data collection and analysis; keep accurate records of GEP3 activities as appropriate in ANFEA, SAME and other non-formal education agencies;

Requirements of Candidate
strong background in marine operations and be able to work to deliver results with minimum supervision, within a diverse team

•Class 1 Master Mariners certificate (Foreign Going)
•A minimum of 5 years post qualification experience as a master mariner
•A minimum of 10 years ocean going ship experience.
•Tanker mooring experience.
•Knowledge of Marine terminal operation.
•Excellent ship handling skills.
•Must be able to communicate effectively with tanker officers of different nationalities.
•Knowledge of local sea and weather conditions.
•Innovative thinking to improve effectiveness.
•Team spirit and analytical thinking.
•Advanced computer skills with proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite

Principal Accountabilities:

Use either control mechanism or direct physical activity to operate machinery and equipment to manufacture cigarettes .
Carry out quality inspection of product at set regular interval and record findings / carrying out necessary adjustment to deliver high quality product that meet customer satisfaction
Monitor all raw material require for cigarette manufacturing activities and ensure that the right materials are used all the time in the manufacturing of cigarettes.
Combining the Message coming from the Machine HMI or message alert centre plus product quality observation and general machine performance, report faults and issues on the machine to the Technician in a way that will facilitate quick resolution of technical problems
Ensures that BAT EHS guidelines are followed when manufacturing cigarettes on production machine.
Carry out daily and weekly maintenance or planned activities according to prescribed procedures to ensure efficient machine performance.
Complete relevant documents/checklists as prescribed in order to ensure availability of accurate operating and maintenance data.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Minimum of 2 years experience operating a GD121 / GDX2 /GDX3/KDF2 Machine.
Must pass the Operational proficiency test.
Spatial / Abstract Reasoning/ Hand-Eye Coordination.
Very good team player, Self-driven, creative and proactive.
Motivation (ability to motivate team members to deliver great results)
Ability to work under pressure with little or no supervision
Ability to relate with colleagues and other stakeholder through effective use of oral and written communications.
Physical abilities according to man-task specifications.
