Responsibilities
To provide independent reasonable assurance to management on the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of audited processes and personnel and in doing so provide reasonable assurance on risk management, control and governance.
To effectively and efficiently carry out audits as assigned.
Understanding the business processes
Compiling Sub Process Analyses as well as Risk and Control Analyses (RACA) that are applicable to the processes and units audited.
Drafting audit programmes for the different processes before they are audited.
Carrying out audit tests on functions/processes being audited and documenting results.
Recommending effective and adequate processes which reduce risk in operations.
Timeous drafting of audit reports on assignments carried out.
Carrying out ad hoc assignments as instructed.
The ongoing identification of risks and possible mitigants.
Problem Solving
Decide on the ratings to give audited processes, suitability of recommendations made and overall ratings awarded, pending input from the Manager.
Planning
Proper planning of audit assignments to ensure a robust risk assessment of audited entity
Portfolio discussions with management to ensure proper understanding of the business and risk.
Establish scope that is sufficient to cover the audit objectives based on the preliminary evaluation of risks.
Decision making
Allocate audit ratings which any reasonable and competent auditor would agree with
Giving SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Resources, and Time bound) recommendations to business.
The ability to make decisions on available information and handle conflict that may arise.
Requirements
A first degree and a professional qualification such as CIS, CIA, CIMA, ACCA, CA, ACA, ACIB, MNIM etc
Detailed knowledge of banking systems and procedures, and modern internal auditing practices.
Work experience of not less than 3 years in banking operations/audits.

Step 1: Computer Based Assessment

Step 5: Entry Level Training Scheme
Candidates who are successful at the Final Interview will be offered a place in our four-month Entry-Level Training Programme. NIGERIAN AIR FORCE AIRMEN/ AIRWOMEN 2014 EXERCISE

General Instructions

1.) Nationality:
Applicant must be of Nigerian origin.
2.) Age:
Applicants must be between the ages of 17 and 22 years for non-tradesmen/women, 17 and 24 years for tradesmen/women by 31 December 2014.
Those who will be older than 22 and 24 years for non-tradesmen and tradesmen respectively by 31st December 2014 need not apply
3.) Marital Status:
All applicants must be single.
4.) Height:
Minimum height is 1.68 meters or 5.5ft for males and 1.65m or 5.4ft for females.
5.) Medical Fitness:
All applicants must be medically fit and meet the Nigerian Air Force medical and employment standards.
Academic/Professional Qualification

Non-Tradesmen/women:
Applicants must possess a minimum of 5 credits including Mathematics and English Language at not more than 2 sittings obtained not later than 4 years to this exercise. In addition, applicants are also required to possess their school’s testimonials.
Tradesmen/women:
Applicants must satisfy the requirements stated for Non-Trade above. In addition, applicants applying as tradesmen/tradeswomen must possess ND (with minimum of Lower Credit) or other relevant trade qualification from government-approved institutions. Note that applicants with HND or First Degrees/Post-Graduate Certificates, University Diplomas and Grade II Teacher's certificates will not be considered for recruitment as airmen/airwomen into the Nigerian Air Force.
Attestation Forms:
Applicant's attestation form must be signed by a military officer from the same state as the applicant and not below the rank of Squadron Leader or equivalent in the Nigerian Army and the Nigerian Navy, and Police Officer of the rank of Assistant CP and above. Local Governments Chairmen/Secretaries, magistrates and principals of government Secondary Schools from applicants' state of origin can also sign the attestation forms. In addition, applicants are to bring with them a letter of attestation of good character from any of the officers above to the Zonal Recruitment Centers and final selection interview.
