    Team Lead, Mediation

Job Description:
   
•Ensure optimal availability of the Mediation (IME/EMM) and OSS systems.
•Coordinate integration of all new network elements into Mediation (IME/EMM) and OSS systems.
•Recommend and coordinate software update on the Mediation (IME/EMM) and OSS systems
•Ensure up-to-date records of system logs and perform regular backups for the Mediation(IME/EMM) and OSS systems
•Recommend and oversee implementation of necessary changes in systems set-up and software update on the Mediation (IME/EMM) and OSS systems.
•Manage all faults on the Mediation (IME/EMM) and OSS platforms.
•Manage and control all system installations and commissioning
•Ensure preventive/routine maintenance on Mediation (IME/EMM) and OSS systems
•Identify and investigate reasons for abnormal network conditions related to Mediation (IME/EMM) and OSS systems.
•Initiate and recommend corrective actions to faults on the Mediation (IME/EMM) and OSS platforms
•Monitor  status and performance of network elements interfacing with the Mediation (IME/EMM) and OSS platforms.
•Ensure the integrity of databases where standard data is kept.
•Develop and maintain tools, applications and scripts to increase effectiveness of the Mediation (IME/EMM) and OSS platforms.
•Ensure Back-end and Front-end support to OSS users.
Job Conditions:     Normal MTNN working conditions. National travel and a valid drivers license. May be required to work after office hours/ weekends
Reporting To:     Airtime & Mobile Money Manager
Required Skills:
   
•First degree in Electrical/Electronics,  Telecommunications or related discipline
•SUN certification is desirable
•Minimum of 4 years experience which includes:
•Hands-on experience in scripting and programming in telecommunications environment.
•Experience in managing mediation systems.
