Sexual preparation towards memorable Christmas

Making sure the body is in good shape does a lot of good to couples’ sex lives. Better sex does not just involve technique. Keeping a healthy mind and body can increase your enjoyment of the bedroom antics. Experts say couples that are mentally and physically healthy are more likely to have good sex lives.
After some time together, most couples actually discover that as time goes on, fire in the bedroom dwindles a bit and sometimes, it is not even due to a lack of desire for sex but their bodies physically limiting them from performing great. After all, do not forget that sex is a cardiovascular activity and maybe, what the couple need is a healthy body to help last longer.
It is a statement of fact that stress is a part of life; couples cannot avoid but to deal with it. When spouses are always stressed out, not only are their minds not in the pleasures of sex, they age faster as well! When you age faster, your body is no longer flexible and in turn, less sex occurs in the bedroom.

Therefore, couples must find a way out and try to establish a de-stressing habit that works for them. Find out what de-stressing habit you can come up with and apply it.

Studies continuously show a direct relationship between sleep deprivation and poor bedroom performance. Put simply, if you do not get enough sleep, you are not performing 100 per cent during the day. Moreover, this translates to a dull performance in bed. So, rest, relax and sleep well.

Couples should aim to eat and drink only natural food items. Today’s fast-paced lives are making us reach our graves quicker! Stop eating fast foods all the time and quit drinking sugar-loaded drinks. Start exercising, you will feel good, look good and have better sex life in no time.
For couples who find it very difficult practising and maintaining good exercise, the best exercise is this; for every one hour, take a brisk fast walk for ten minutes because a healthy lifestyle is associated with healthy sex life.
Eat right. There is a 100 per cent proven connection between a balanced diet and bedroom performance.
Recently, researchers have found that there is a correlation between waist size and a man’s odds of having erectile dysfunction (ED). The larger the man’s waist size, the greater his chances of having ED, premature ejaculation, low libido and weak erection (because of a higher risk of underlying cardiovascular disease).
As a matter of fact, men with smaller weight but rounded protruded tummy must go for a check-up fast because there is more danger of heart conditions than men who are bigger with bigger tummy. Most of our men do more of sedentary job where only their brain and not muscles are actively involved. But men that are more active have higher sex function scores.
Studies have further shown that regular, moderate exercise can have a positive benefit on major sexual problems, such as ED in men and low libido in both men and women.

Most married women are concerned about their increase in weight. Well, unless you are eating less or exercising more; the chances are you would notice that it is harder to keep the weight off. In fact, according to research, 40 per cent of women who are 30 and above, gain weight during this decade because their metabolism has started to slow down. Not only this, but they may also have noticed that their shape has changed and they have gained weight around their bottom, hips and thigh. This is because your body is trying to store more fat to fuel pregnancy and breastfeeding. In fact, from your 40s, 50s and 60s, your metabolism has slowed right down by about 100 calories a day. This is not just due to ageing, but because after 40, you start to lose about one to two per cent of calorie-burning muscle mass each year.
It is also when the pre- menopause – the run-up to the menopause – tends to strike, causing oestrogen and progesterone levels to fluctuate, which means fat deposits begin to increase. This may result in a thicker waist, an increase in breast size and bigger upper arms.
Changing hormone levels can also suppress your thyroid gland, causing weight gain and other symptoms, including tiredness, irritability and sleep problems, each of which, research shows, can increase your urge to snack on high-carbohydrate meals and sugary foods such as white bread, cakes and biscuits and of course, low desire for sex.
I have always encouraged married couples to watch their sexual performances in bed; it says a lot about their health. There is an increasing awareness that sex is not just about quality of life; sex can be a harbinger of underlying medical conditions. Your sex life could be trying to tell you something about your body.
Let us look into some areas couples would naturally take for granted:
One: When you are just not interested any more, it might be low testosterone. Many things can cause your sex drive to shift into neutral: work stress, falling out of love, lack of sleep. But what if those things don’t apply and you’d still rather sheep than make love? Or, if the sights and touches that once turned you on leave you literally unmoved? You might have a hormonal problem.

Two: More and more often, you cannot hold an erection; it might be a heart problem (the cardiovascular kind, not the romantic kind). Maybe you are a relatively healthy midlife man, a little overweight, and you start having erectile trouble. Count yourself lucky. It might be your tip-off that you are three to five years away from coronary artery disease. Men are increasingly being diagnosed with ED due to low blood flow, which increases their chance of heart disease.

Three: You suddenly cannot get it up but you were fine last month and you noticed you are not experiencing the usual morning erection. It might be a blocked artery, especially if your leg mysteriously hurts too. The occasional limp penis is a casualty of naturally decreasing hormone levels as men age and experience changes in relationships. When ED comes on suddenly, what happens is an unusual aortoiliac occlusive disease, or Leriche’s syndrome, a narrowing of a heart artery due to blockage. In Leriche’s syndrome, erectile problems come on suddenly (one week you are fine, and the next you have persistent issues) and is accompanied by pain in the leg (especially the calf) or the buttocks, especially when you walk or exercise. People with problems of the nervous system (Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, diabetes) are at higher risk, as are smokers and those with high blood pressure.

Four: Sometimes in my consulting office, some husbands come in and say, ‘My penis just aches when I have sex.’ When your penis aches while you are having intercourse it might be Peyronie’s disease. Peyronie’s disease, an uncommon condition that can develop at any age, is the formation of abnormal scar tissue under the penile skin, which can cause a hardened spot in the middle or make the penis bend slightly when erect. It is often noticed as a constant discomfort during intercourse.

Five: Painless bump or swelling on the testicle. This might be testicular cancer. Testicular cancer is asymptomatic; it does not hurt. However, it often presents itself as a painless bump or swelling on the testicle, which can be detected through self-examination or by a wife’s roaming hands during sex. Testicular cancer has a near-100 per cent cure rate in early stages, so do not ignore a lump; see a sex therapist or doctor. The best time for self-examination is done while standing up in a shower, when your muscles are relaxed.

Six: When you ejaculate too quickly, it might be Hyperthyroidism. Premature ejaculation (PE) – either climaxing before intercourse or very soon after it begins – is the headache of younger men but can strike at any age. How soon is too soon is a relative issue, but a general rule of thumb is that PE is a problem when it routinely strikes without any control within a couple of minutes of insertion and sooner than either spouse would like. As many as one in three men experience it at some point in their lives. Psychological issues (too excited, too immature, guilt) were once blamed for all cases, but doctors now know there can be physical causes, especially a malfunctioning thyroid (the gland responsible for making and storing key regulatory hormones).
For some men, the only symptom of hyperthyroidism is premature ejaculation. One 2005 study found that fully half of men with a malfunctioning thyroid complained of PE. Though premature ejaculation is hard for many men to talk about, it is highly treatable. The Vietnam herbs are still giving hope to a lot of men.

Seven: When you ejaculate and it hurts it might be a muscle spasm disorder or Prostatitis – an inflammation of the prostate which is a gland located up under the rectum.

Eight: When you ejaculate, nothing comes out! Retrograde ejaculation is a condition where you experience orgasm but little or no semen comes out (it exits through the bladder). Alpha-blocker used to improve urination in men with enlarged prostate is a common culprit. Sometimes, diabetics also experience this due to nerve damage.
Nine: It takes forever to ejaculate and that is if it ever happens at all. It might be diabetes, or pre-diabetes in the form of a weight problem. In nine out of 10 men with anorgasmia – the inability to reach orgasm – the root cause is psychological (anything from performance anxiety to work stress to a history of childhood sexual abuse). However, in the remaining 10 percent of cases, there is a penile sensory problem, most often caused by nerve damage due to diabetes. Diabetics typically have other clues to the disease, including numbness in the feet, thirst, itchy skin, excessive urination, and fatigue. But then, they do not always link the condition to sexual performance problems, which can include the inability to climax. There is also increasing evidence that obesity itself is a medical cause of erectile dysfunctions and loss of libido.

Ten: Be an addictive lover of natural remedies for live support even if you are not sick. For instance, if you have issue with ulcer of any kind, be it stomach, gastric duodenum ulcer, you may likely perform very badly in bed because of the medications used for these ulcer.
So instead of taking medication as a life support; alongside, you should take the gel of local raw aloe Vera. How? All you will do is scoop the gel off with a table spoon and drink morning and night. Aloe Vera is a deep wound healer; it will heal whatever may be the degree of the ulcer wound if you practise this for at least four months and coupled with taking a piece of cabin biscuit or wafer, crackers, or digestive biscuit in every ten minutes. While the Aloe Vera is providing the healing process, the flour of the biscuit is covering the wound and preventing further injuries from the hydrochloric acid produced in the stomach and some ingested bacteria.

Eleven: It is a medically confirmed fact that a diabetic man or woman, will not perform well on sex bed because the disease itself and the medications has a big depraved effect on the sufferer especially the men. They will not be able to have erection and after sometime, will become impotent. So if you as a man have been diagnosed to have diabetes and you are also on drugs to maintain your state, kindly cultivate the habit of drinking the juice of back of orange peels. All you need do is get some oranges, either ripe or unripe, lemon or lime; peel the back off neatly, rinse them nicely and put them in a pot. Boil them for ten minutes; drink half a cup morning and night for the next four months. You will discover that your fasting blood sugar and random blood sugar will go down in an amazing manner. The caution here is that this natural remedy is so effective that you have to be checking your blood sugar level regularly so as not go hypoglycaemia.

Twelve: For many husbands whose sexual challenge of erectile dysfunction is as a result of hypertension and high blood pressure; the very effective remedy that will amazingly help control the blood pressure and also help supply oxygenated blood with good nutrient to the arteries of the penis and invariably help you to enjoy sex without fear is by cultivating the habit of taking raw okra like a snack on a daily basis. Take two to three strand of okra every night and watch how your sex life will be transformed from I-can’t-have-good-erection to my-erection-is-supper.

Skye Bank Tops Nine Nigerian Commercial Banks Experiencing Stress

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has discreetly worked on stress tests in which at least nine commercial banks have demonstrated a level of distress that requires they recapitalize in order to avert the banks’ possibly falling into distress.

e Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has discreetly worked on stress tests in which at least nine commercial banks have demonstrated a level of distress that requires they recapitalize in order to avert the banks’ possibly falling into distress. Emphasizing that none of the affected banks was “in imminent danger of collapsing,” a source at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) told SaharaReporters that the regulatory bank’s action was meant to pre-empt any bank collapses in the near future.Central Bank of Nigeria
According to the source, the affected banks include United Bank for Africa (UBA), First Bank, Diamond Bank, Sterling Bank, Skye Bank, and Heritage Bank. The other banks are Wema Bank, Unity Bank and Fidelity Bank.
The worst hit bank is Skye bank where is facing a serious level of distress that could lead to its total collapse.
According to the source, several of the affected banks have neglected to maintain healthy capital liquidity levels. As a result, some of the banks were described as tethering on the brink of collapse.
The regulatory source told SaharaReporters that First Bank was also one of the most precarious positions since the bank made several bad loans to two oil tycoons, Jide Omokore and Kola Aluko. The bad loans amounted to N120 billion.
According to our source, the loans were given without any collateral but on the basis of a guarantee by former Petroleum Minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke, that both businessmen would enjoy strong state patronage in the oil industry in the form of production sharing agreements with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).
First Bank recently changed its chief executive as the bank tries to revamp its operations.
Our source described UBA as financially strong, but added that its chairman, Tony Elumelu, exerts too unhealthy an influence in the bank. When former Central Bank Governor, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, ordered chief executives of certain commercial banks to quit for bringing their banks to severe crises, Mr. Elumelu maneuvered to retain control of the UBA and reportedly continues to treat it as a personal estate.
Mr. Elumelu bankrolled his younger brother, Ndudi Elumelu’s, failed governorship race in Delta State with as much as N1 billion, according to sources close to the campaign. “He [Tony Elumelu] tried to ‘purchase’ the governorship for Ndudi,” said one of the sources. He alleged that the billion-naira war chest was an unsecured loan from UBA that Ndudi Elumelu, a former member of the House of Representatives, has not repaid.
Another political figure in Delta State told SaharaReporters that Mr. Ndudi Elumelu was scammed out of N750 million from the campaign loan he received from. The source named Dumebi Kachikwu, a younger brother to the current Group Managing Director of the NNPC, Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu, as the person who fleeced Mr. Elumelu of the funds.
Our CBN source disclosed that the regulatory bank was anxious to end reckless loan practices by the UBA and other commercial banks in order to avert bank crashes.
The CBN source told our correspondent that the regulatory bank did not wish to create a panic in the banking sector, adding that the capitalization order to certain banks was to avoid the recurrence of the 2010 banking crisis that saw Nigeria giving banks a huge bailout.
The CBN source said the creation of the Treasury Single Account (TSA) also led to further stress in the banking sector as most of the bank merely served as purveyors of stolen government funds or illegally took fund deposits that were diverted from government accounts.
The CBN source said the latest approach announced by the CBN pushing down interest rates were all pro-active and pre-emptive strikes to prevent a total meltdown in the Nigerian banking sector. He concluded that regardless, the banking sector would need an "AMCON 2" referring to the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria, a body set to buy bad debts from Nigerian banks.  The first AMCON, our source insisted, also needs a bailout.

HOW TO MAKE WOMEN SQUIRT ON DEMAND… WITHIN SECONDS

DIFFERENT TYPES OF ORGASMS A WOMAN CAN HAVE

Men can only have one type of orgasm (sucks I know) but women can actually have two…

CLITORAL ORGASM

Most common among women, direct stimulation of the clitoris and happens during masturbation. You can also give them a clitoral orgasm orally, if you know what you’re doing.
Quick tip: Did you know that women have as many nerve endings in their clitorus as men do in their penis? Crazy right? Now you get why it’s SO sensitive for women during foreplay and sex.
Also most women only really experience one clitoral orgasm, because the clit can become VERY sensitive and sometimes even sore.

VAGINAL ORGASM

Comes from the inside of the vagina from either the G-spot or the deep spot. This is the kind of female orgasm that can infuse their entire body, making them feel numb and shiver with excitement uncontrollably.
It’s also possible to have multiple vaginal orgasms, so you can (if done right) make her cum more than once… heck more than 3 or more times during sex, which will give her an overwhelming sensation… like a constant wave of pleasure all over her body.
Quick note: Did you know that only 20% of women have experienced a vagnial orgasm? That means over 80% of women haven’t experienced one and most likely don’t even know what the hell it is… madness!
…And a staggering 29% of women have NEVER had an orgasm!

HOW TO MAKE WOMEN SQUIRT… FOREPLAY TECHNIQUES FOR THE G-SPOT

This is the good stuff, grab a coffee and take note big man:

LUBE UP FIRST

To intensify the pleasure, you should use a water based lube when using finger based foreplay which is what you will be doing here to make her squirt.
A great natural lubricant is grape seed oil, which is also awesome for massaging as well as G-spot stimulation with the fingers.

GET YOUR HANDS READY

Remember that the vagina is a very sensitive area for a woman, so you must look after your hands… cut your nails, moisturise and keep them clean so they are soft and smooth.
I’d even recommend getting a manicure.. yes I know it’s not manly, but it will make sure your hands are ready for her.

LOCATE THE G-SPOT

The big “G” is a part of the urethral sponge and is located between 1 and 2 inches (2 knuckles) inside the vagina, along the front wall, which is the top if the girl was laying on her back basically.
As a woman becomes a lot more aroused, you should feel the G-spot swell up and become more pronounced, this is a GOOD sign that she’s ready to be penetrated… but we want to save that for later as the aim here is to make her squirt.

TECHNIQUE 1: STROKING

Ok so the first the first technique is called “stroking”. To do this, take your index finger or middle finger… place it inside the vagina and go up, so you are touching the front wall.
Now with your finger inside and touching the G-spot, begin stroking backwards and forwards, with a “come here” motion as if you’re stroking it. Don’t be too gentle, you need to be firm.
Start with shorter slower strokes when you first enter, but build up momentum and speed up after a few minutes. Once she’s really getting into it, try two fingers (your index and middle fingers) and use the same stroking motion.
Never use 2 fingers right away, always begin with 1.

TECHNIQUE 2: OVERDRIVE

Right then… this is where the magic happens. Now that you’ve been stimulating the G-spot and stroking it for 10 to 15 minutes. You should feel it ballooning inside and she should be groaning with pleasure.
This is the point where you want to take things into “overdrive”. For this you will need to be right beside her (like on your knees if you’re on the bed” and use both your middle finger and ring finger to penetrate the same spot.
Now with your fingers inside, you need to rest the palm of your hand on the clitorous, almost cupping it. Once you’re in position, begin slowly stroking, whilst speeding up and then start to pull your hand up and down so you stimulate the clit at the same time.
Speed up some more and be a lot firmer as you’re speeding up…
…Speed up EVEN more…. now some more…. and finally go as fast as you can until she climaxes (squirts) all over the bed.
Now not all women will squirt, but a lot will. I’ve only had one girl who couldn’t squirt and I did everything correctly. You should feel the vaginal wall tighten and put pressure on your fingers, this means you’ve done the job well.
Boom! You’re all done!
By now your hands… the bed and her vagina should be covered in her love juice. Don’t worry it’s not pee, like some guys think. It’s ejaculate fluid which comes out of the urethra, not the vagina.
The female ejaculation fluid comes from the skene’s gland and has a sweet taste to it (due to the glucose contents).

THINGS TO REMEMBER

  • Get some high quality lube – Water based lube is the best as it can be used with condoms also. You can still make a woman orgasm without lube, but it’s not recommended.
  • Buy spare sheets – If she’s a “gusher” then you’re going to be going through a lot of sheets dude.
  • Spruce up your place – Make sure your apartment is presentable, clean and comfortable. If she’s not comfortable, then you’ll have a hard time making her squirt.
  • Take your time – It’s not a race, most girls will take around 20 to 30 minutes before you can make them squirt. However if you see the girl more than once and she’s very comfortable sexually around you, it will be seconds to a few minutes.
So that’s how to make women squirt on demand… even though they are the basics they still work wonders.
Squirting orgasms are seriously easy when you get the first one down, because you’re way more confident the next time.

Moves She Wants You To Make During Foreplay

Like working out, sex can be bad–and possibly dangerous–if you both parties haven’t warmed up properly. We know you are desperate to get to the good stuff, but foreplay can be good, too. If you take the time and make the right moves, you will find yourself loving the pre-game as much as you do the grand finale. However, there is more to foreplay than first, second, and third bases. We spoke to real women to find out how to make foreplay creative and exciting, and what moves really get her going.
1. Talk to Me
I love a dude who can communicate during foreplay. Moaning and groaning is cool, but dirty talk is fun for both parties and typically you end up getting more/less of what you actually want in the bedroom when you can be vocal about it in a playful way. It’s a great way to get me going. –Kelly, 26
2. Pay Attention to the Twins
It sucks when they don’t spend enough time on breasts. Most men seem more than happy to spend a good amount of time on other foreplay activities and areas, but they kind of just see the boobs, give them a quick once over, and then move on, rarely to return. It’s very sad. Give them more loving, we like it! –Jessica, 26
3. Be Gentle
I’ve had a few just dive right in and try to just click away on my clit like it’s a computer mouse–like first thing, before I’m even undressed. One guy got so rambunctious with his fingers that I felt like I was hooking up with Jack the Ripper. Relax, guys, it’s a turn on. –Stephanie, 28
4. Undress Me
The act of undressing a person is in itself a type of foreplay. To me, it is the hottest part of being intimate with someone. Needless to say, when a guy is too excited about the end result that I end up taking my own clothes off in haste, it is a little disappointing. –Selina, 29
5. Put Your Tongue Back in Your Mouth
Tongue is fun and can be very verrrry sexy but too much tongue is nasty. And this goes for tongue engagement across all body parts…mouth (kisses are meant to involve lips and tongue…not tongue only…don’t need to know what you ate for dinner…and lunch), ears (this also can be sexy but has the potential to go very wrong and make me feel like you’re trying to clean out my ears with your tongue), neck (neck kisses are wonderful but please don’t slobber all over me like a dog or leave hickeys post middle school…I have to go to work with that) and lastly lady parts (very important…tongue is crucial but needs to be utilized correctly). –Kelly, 26

Eating to prevent colon cancer

To prevent colon cancer, we need to increase our fibre intake, eat a variety of fresh vegetables, avoid processed foods, drink plenty of good water and get some exercise.
All of these factors have shown up consistently as preventive measures in the study of colon cancer. Exercise has been shown to prevent colon cancer more than any other
The colon is also known as the large intestine and it is the last area of the digestive tract that waste matter passes through before elimination. It is where your body re-absorbs water and minerals for recycling and where it absorbs vitamin B12, as well as fat-soluble vitamins A and E.
The bacteria in the colon manufacture vitamin K, which plays a role in blood clotting. Fibre is what keeps these processes going in the bowel.
Fibre refers to the indigestible residue of plants. It consists of complex carbohydrates that we are unable to digest. They encompass a wide variety of molecular structures that differ in their degree of solubility in water.
They add to the bulk of bowel contents and stimulate the passage of waste matter through the colon. Shorter transit times (time of ingestion of food until its elimination via defecation) are related to decreased incidence of colon cancer. In other words, constipation increases your risk of colon cancer and fibre prevents constipation. Drinking plenty of water also helps to prevent constipation.
Until the last six or seven generations, humans ate a diet filled with vegetable and grain fibre. With industrialisation, our diets changed radically: the processing of foods for commercial sale resulted in the loss of much of the fibre, especially of grain foods.
Comparing the illnesses occurring in industrialised and non-industrialised populations, it is apparent that many common illnesses rarely occur in less industrialised areas that eat high fibre diets.
Illnesses include diabetes, constipation, diverticulitis, colon cancer, heart disease, obesity, gall bladder disease and gallstones, pancreatitis, hiatus hernia, appendicitis, haemorrhoids, varicose veins and even breast cancer. There is an unmistakable epidemiologic relationship between these diseases and low dietary fibre.
Fibre reduces the conversion of primary bile acids into secondary bile acids, which are potential cancer promoters. It absorbs more bile acids and dilutes them within a larger stool mass, thus protecting against colon cancer.
With fibre, the bile itself is more soluble and less likely to form gall stones. Similarly, fibre protects against pancreatitis by preventing billiard sludge.
Fibre reduces fat absorption and lowers cholesterol levels. It even helps lower excess oestrogen by speeding up transit time, thus reducing the likelihood that oestrogen will be re-circulated back into the body.
What is your transit time?
A good way to test your need for more fibre is the bowel transit time test. Bowel transit time is the time it takes for food to travel through your system, from the period you eat it to when it exits your body. All you need to do is eat some food that can serve as a marker when it appears in the stool.
Fresh corn on the cob is one such food. We digest the starch within the kernels, not the kernels themselves, which will be visible in the bowel movement when they are passed.
Simply eat some corn and watch your bowel movements until you see the kernels. That is your bowel transit time. A healthy transit time is 18 to 24 hours. In the U.S., common bowel transit times are found to be two to three days, a good indicator of the need for more fibre and water in the diet.
Nutrients and colon cancer
Fibre is not the only thing you eat that affects your risk of colon cancer. A deficiency of some nutrients can also predispose one to colon cancer.
Antioxidants
Antioxidants protects against all types of cancer and all of the chronic degenerative diseases, such as heart disease, arthritis and diabetes. Your first source of antioxidants should be fresh fruits and vegetables.
A good multivitamin can give you added protection. The most important antioxidants are vitamin C (take 1,000mg daily), vitamin E (400 IU daily), and vitamin A (take 5,000 to 10,000 IU daily).
Other types of antioxidants can be found in the bio-flavonoids found in fruits, especially berries and supplements made from grape seed extract, quercetin and green tea extracts. Again, these types of supplements, as powerful as they can be, are no substitute for eating fresh fruits and vegetables.
Trace minerals
Zinc (10 to 15mg daily) and selenium (200 microgrammes daily) are also powerful antioxidants and are essential to the health of the colon. Studies have repeatedly linked selenium deficiencies to colon cancer. One study showed a 40 per cent reduction in new colon cancer cases in populations that took selenium supplements. Onions and garlic are great sources of selenium.
Calcium
Another mineral that has been repeatedly shown to have a beneficial effect on the colon is calcium. It is thought to help prevent colon cancer by binding with bile salts and fatty acids that can damage the colonic epithelium and enhance cell proliferation. More than 300mg of calcium daily combined with at least 150mg of magnesium should confer protection against colon cancer.
Milk, while it’s a good source of calcium, should be avoided by adults since it often causes a chronic inflammation of the gut that potentially increases the risk of cancer.
Vitamin D
It is essential to good colon health and sunshine is the best place to get your daily dose. Vitamin D is so essential to preventing the risk of getting colon cancer that the risk of getting it is doubled in those who have the lowest levels. People who can’t get outside much or live in northern latitudes can take up to 2,000mg daily, although if you take that much, get a Vitamin D test after a few months.
Folate
Folic acid is a B vitamin that is well known for preventing birth defects and I recommend it for preventing and treating cervical dysplasia. The Harvard Nurses’ Study showed that women who supplemented with folate for a long-term have a significantly reduced risk of colon cancer. A good multivitamin will contain 400mcg (microgrammes) of folic acid.
