The Technical Officer, (Prevention and Mitigation) will assist in the provision of technical support to the implementing agencies in prevention and mitigation activities at the state level. Duties and Responsibilities

Under the overall guidance and supervision of the UNAIDS Country Coordinator, specially, Country Community Mobilization and Networking Adviser (CMNA) will focus on catalyzing and increasing effective community mobilization, advocacy and demand creation across social movements and reinforcement of community capacities to become service providers, partners in policy development, and watchdogs for rights, programming and transparency of funding flows.  Critical to this position will be in-depth knowledge of and engagement with national and sub-national networks of people living and HIV and key populations, particularly in relation to attainment of the Political Declaration targets. The successful candidate will ensure that business activities in NNPC comply with prescribed financial applications, processes, and procedures.  She/he will also develop final audit report to ensure that it is of the right standard and quality.  The ideal candidate should have a good university degree in Geology/Petroleum/ Production/ Refining Engineering and should not be more than 45 years of age by December 2012.

BUSINESS ANALYST (REF NO. EH/BUA.01)
The successful candidate will assist in the development of planning reports by undertaking regular analysis of the local and international crude oil and gas market.  She/He will also be responsible for preparing revenue projections and monitoring the capital budget for the business units.  The ideal candidate should have a good university degree in Accounting/ Economics/Business Administration/ Finance and any Engineering field.  An MBA degree will be added advantage.  The candidate should not be more than 45 years of age by December 2012.

COMMUNITY RELATION OFFICER (REF. NO.: EH/CRO.03)
As community Relation Officer, candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining an effective communication network with host communities and recognized stakeholders in areas of operation. In addition candidate will also develop programs to improve and maintain a positive company image and ensure regular reporting to management.  The ideal candidate should have a good university degree in Humanities/Social Science and should not be more than 45 years of age by December 2012.

COST CONTROL  OFFICER (REF NO: EH/CCO.01)
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing cost control guidelines, and ensuring proper tracking systems for invoices and payments. She/He will also analyze cost sensitivity and define cost centre structure. The ideal candidate should have a good university degree in Accounting/Economics. A professional certificate in Cost Accounting will be an added advantage. The candidate should not be more than 45 years of age by December 2012.

LEGAL OFFICER (REF NO: EH/LEO.01)
The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, interpreting and deciphering legal documents. She/He will also advise the company on all legal matters. The ideal candidate should have a good university degree in Law and should not be more than 45 years of age by December 2012.

ECONOMIST (REF NO: EH/ECO.01)
The successful candidate will plan, design, and conduct research to aid in interpreting of economic relationships and solutions to problems arising from production and distribution of crude oil and refined products. She/He will also devise methods and procedures for collecting and processing data, utilizing knowledge of available sources of data and various econometric and sampling techniques. The ideal candidate should have a good university degree in Economics and should not be more than 45 years of age by December 2012.

PETROLEUM ECONOMIST (REF NO: EH/PEC.01)
The successful candidate will independently compile and produce risk based business and economic evaluations for new integrated business ventures and existing operations in order to support and assist strategic decisions for top management. She/he will also develop economic models for strategic decision making. The ideal candidate should have a post graduate degree in Petroleum Economics and should not be more than 45 years of age by December 2012.

RISK/COMPLIANCE OFFICER (REF NO: EH/RCO.01)
The successful candidate will assist in risk/compliance management through the identification and evaluation of risks to the corporation. The ideal candidate should have a good university degree in Insurance/ Actuarial Science/Industrial Engineering and should not be more than 45 years of age by December 2012.

TAX OFFICER (REF NO: EH/TAX.01)
The successful candidate will ensure that the correct payment is billed, collected and administered in the process. She/He will in addition liaise with the FIRS, the Federal Government and Professional bodies. The ideal candidate should have a good university degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics/Petroleum Economics and should not be more than 45 years of age by December 2012.

HUMAN RESOURCES ADVISOR (REF NO: EH/HRA.01)
The successful candidate will among other things assist in the development of skills and competency profiles for recruitment and selection, training and development, and succession planning. The ideal candidate should have a good university degree in Humanities/Social Sciences and should not be more than 45 years of age by December 2012.

SECURITY ADVISOR (REF NO: EH/SEA.01)
The successful candidate will assist to ensure compliance with the Corporation’s security policies and procedures, monitor security implementation across the business units, undertake intelligence gathering functions, and assist in protecting the Company assets in various locations. She/He will also be involved in surveillance and to nip in the bud all threat to NNPC operations. The ideal candidate should have a good university degree in law, Humanities/Social Sciences and should not be more than 45 years of age by December 2012.

BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE ANALYST (REF NO: EH/BIA.01)
The successful candidate will maintain business intelligence tools or systems and ensure that current business solution is consistent with defined needs. The candidate may also be required to analyze technology trends for future product development. The ideal candidate should have a good university degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Information Technology Management and should not be more than 45 years of age by December 2012.

SAP-BASIS (REF NO: EH/SAB.01)
The ideal candidate will be required to run and monitor SAP backup, R3 servers and instances. The candidate will also handle overall system administration functions in line with SLAs. The candidate should have a good university degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Information Technology Management and should not be more than 45 years of age by December 2012.
