Job Description:
•Provide a wide variety of non-technical consulting and advisory service to the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) and Network Group as a whole.
-Assist the CTO with the identification, conceptualization and championing of activities, projects and or assignments aimed at optimizing performance within NWG.
-Coordinate end to end technology solution planning across NWG planning functions to determine dependencies and ensure completeness in solution deployment specification
-Manage end to end inter-functional planning requirements with IS and CPG
-Initiate, develop and champion execution of innovative solutions to address operational shortfalls
-Co-ordinate industry research and evaluate business intelligence information to serve as input to NWG’s strategy development and plans
-Assist CTO with financial and operational performance analysis.
-Develop, prepare, review and analyze operational performance indicators to identify areas in which synergies can be achieved for quality improvement cost efficiencies.
-Assist with the creation and documentation of assigned plans on behalf of the Chief Technical Officer/Network Group
-Review, update and publish the Network Group Organogram.
-Provide analytical, documentation and project management support on projects/assignments as agreed with the Chief Technical Officer.
-Manage Network Group vendor and supplier relationship and track vendor performance scorecards.
-Liaise with line managers to ensure implementation of approved projects

•Develop, prepare, review and analyze financial performance indicators for Network Group Capex and Opex.
-Develop, manage and maintain library of the Chief Technical Officer’s presentations to various constituencies engaging with MTNN Network Group – Educational, industrial, community, international, governmental and MTN Group Operations.
-Assist with the collation and documentation of assigned plans on behalf of the Chief Technical Officer/Network Group
-Prepare/collate and ensure timely submission of documents/presentations requested from the Chief Technical Officer/Network Group
-Coordinate and ensure efficient flow of activities within the Chief Technical Officer’s office.

•Perform other functions as may be defined by the CTO
Job Conditions: Normal MTN working conditions May work extended hours if required
Reporting To: Chief Technical Officer
Required Skills:
•First degree in Engineering or any other relevant field
•Possession of an MBA or Project Management certification will be an advantage
•At least 8 years work experience which includes:
•2 years in a supervisory/managerial capacity
•2-3years experience in a technology/telecoms company
•Experience in Business Development/Financial Management is desirable
•Proven experience in managing complex projects
•Experience in Network Planning and Operations
