The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) wishes to recruit suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:
Job Title: Mooring Men (Berthing Men)
The Authority, a government owned agency is charged with the responsibility of berthing / unberthing of vessels in the under-listed locations.
Job Locations:

• Lagos Pilotage District
• Bonny/ Port Harcourt Pilotage District
• Warri Pilotage District
• Calabar Pilotage District
• Any other location regulated by NPA

Responsibilities among others are:

• Safe berthing of vessels and crafts
• Unberthing of vessels

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum of five (5) credits in SSCE / GCE or NECO at not more than two sittings including English and Mathematics
• Age range: 18-21 years
• Physical fitness
• Ability to swim
