Commercial Export Sales Manager – Francophone West Africa
The successful candidate is required to:
Ensure clear company processes are in place.
Identify and appoint official country distributors in African markets and provide appropriate information for setting up new customers accounts in MFG in line with agreed distributor’s expectations.
Agree export prices / payment modalities / trading terms with customers in line with procedure.
Collect orders from customers and ensure product availability in site 18 on agreed time.
Establish proven customer payment from bank and prepare a proforma invoice of the order.
Arrange for registration of trademarks of products and all other documents in export countries.
Clarify any special requirements from customers and relate back to PZ.
Forward the proforma invoice to the export logistics department for loading / stuffing arrangement.
Follow up on customer order shipment until delivery for effective customer service.
Ensure good customer relationship management / regular status update.
Ensure alignment with S&OP and inclusion of export orders in the monthly forecast.
Arrange samples and send to customers for test marketing
The Person: The successful candidate is required to possess:
B.Sc. Purchasing and Supply or Social Sciences; MBA will be an advantage.
5 - 10 years working experience in a similar role.
Computer expertise especially in MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint.
Membership of Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) Chartered.
Good knowledge of ports operations and the Nigerian freight system.
Good working relationship with NEPC, NACCIMA, MANEG.
Good knowledge of inventory management, planning and organising skills.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Fluency In French Language COMPULSORY.

SITE RISK MANAGER
ALL BUSINESS UNITS – LAGOS
THE ROLE:
Site Risk Manager The successful candidate will be required to:
Assist with the development, implementation and management of HSE programs, policies and procedures.
Develop plan and conduct effective H&S training for production, warehouse, laboratory and office and new project environments. Review and update existing training modules to ensure they are in tune with current business needs (e.g. OHSAS 18001, PPE, LOTO, Fire safety, etc.)
Perform routine H&S inspections and audits; and drive the implementation of appropriate changes to comply with company policy OHSAS 18001 and regulatory standards. Also facilitate behavioural based safety walk-around and pep-talks.
Facilitates & support all factories in Hazard control; Risk Assessment and HAZOP studies as needed.
Conduct regular assessment and monitoring of exposure / risk level for noise, dust, air-flow ambient temperature, gas, etc.
Conduct H&S induction for new hires and contractors.
Plan and facilitate monthly safety meetings
Conduct accident investigation and reporting. Also follow-up corrective actions.
Manage comprehensive communication effort to encourage employee involvement in company H&S program
Oversee existing HSE programs (e.g. health surveillance – respiratory checks, lock-out/ tag-out, PPE, etc.) to ensure compliance with existing policy, standards and regulations.
Support and effectively communicates across internal functional departments to improve H&S culture, eliminate risks and close-out issues from incident learning points / corrective actions.
Monitor accidents/injuries and develops procedures through incident/accident/near miss reporting to prevent/decrease the incident rate.
Provide on-going and regular support, as needed, for: safety meetings teams in the factories; the collection and analysis of safety KPI for local (at site safety steering committee meeting) and corporate reporting; the editing and publication of internal safety information on notice boards; annual review of safety procedures and documents and the delivery of HSE guidance and support to all site.
Champion OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 certification drive by providing appropriate support to site operation and interface with 3rd party support / consultants / agencies.
Provide H&S support to projects such as new site construction, re-modelling, etc., for hazards control, contractor management, access control and incident monitoring and control.
Ensure availability of all firefighting equipment e.g. hydrant ring main pressure, fire extinguishers, etc.
Coordinate sites emergency response team / activities and drills.
Organising annual HSE week
Record keeping of all aforementioned; relevant policies, legal and statutory requirements.
Perform other duties as required.
THE PERSON: The Right candidate must
Have HND/B.Sc degree.
Have a minimum of 3- 5 years working experience in a similar position.
Candidate must have good verbal and written communication skills.
Be proficient in technical writing.
Have great interpersonal skills to write reports, policy, procedures and correspondence.
Be proficient in MS Office.
