Globalcom Recruits Experienced Internal Auditors

Globalcom, the second national carrier requires the services of experienced Auditors in auditing activities of its various offices and outlets all over the country. Under the direction of the Chief Internal Auditors will be responsible for the timely execution of risk-based internal audits in accordance with the annual audit plan, as well as assisting with other audit assignments and projects.

QUALIFICATION
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or any other relevant sciences
- ACA or ACCA is mandatory
- Good communication, preparation and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to adapt to change quickly, multi task and willing to travel
- Ability to learn fast especially in technical areas

EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 5 years post ICAN qualification audit experience

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish risk-based audit programs
- Document and ensure the integrity of the procedures and processes
- Determine scope of review in conjunction with the Audit Manager
- Assess the strengths or weaknesses of the system of internal controls
- Recommend strong and effective controls to strengthen any weaknesses observed
- Determine compliance with policies and procedures
- Conduct substantive test of specified areas and identify reportable issues
- Communicate findings to senior management and draft comprehensive and complete report of audits

SECURITY OFFICERS (in 35 states)

Globacom, Nigeria’s Second National Carrier is expanding her operations with more installations and numerous facilities across Nigeria and requires the services of Security Officers in all the states excluding Lagos and Abuja.
The Security Officers are to be engaged in the states in which they reside to serve as state security officers. The position attracts very competitive salary packages.

QUALIFICATION
- Minimum of HND or its equivalent with formal training / Certification in Security Management can be considered

EXPERIENCE
- At least 8 years work experience
- At least 2 years managerial experience in a corporate security environment would be preferable
- Senior command experience in security force (military, police, security service – officer Cadre) would be an added advantage
- Knowledge of security management

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure security intelligence information are collated, analyzed and applied towards ensuring the best protection level for the company personnel and operations in area of responsibility
- Lead point-of-contact in requirements gathering and policy creation
- Provide effective and active support to the CSO in the development, review and update of security policies and procedure
- Liaise with Nigeria Police Force in the area of responsibility, for additional security support
- Ensure that all incidents are investigated, properly documented using approved reporting template and reported to the CSO
- Implement crisis management plan as developed by the CSO
- Collate and prepare all relevant security reports for the CSO
- Remain fully abreast of all corporate, technical and security community developments in order to proactively identify new areas of security concern
- Establish and maintain standards covering all aspects of security and compliance
