Etihad Airways Recruiting Reservation & Ticketing Agent, Sales Representative, Office Coordinator, Sales Support Administrator

1.) Reservation & Ticketing Agent

Job Purpose
Optimise all front desk activities with guests leading to potential sales outcomes whilst complying with all EY ticketing policies and procedures and high standards of customer service delivery to exceed guest expectations.

Responsibilities

Efficiently handle guests and their queries, achieve personal targets and contribute to the overall team revenue, yield and volume targets.
Comply with all EY reservation policies and procedures and standards of guest service (i.e. handling guest problems, answering telephone enquiries within 3 rings, pre-flight checks, timeliness, grooming, courtesy etc)
Attend to guest problems, escalating to higher levels as required.
Keep self up to date on product, service, policies and procedures.
Ensure all monies accounted for and TSR tallies
Correctly log, stock, and store all ticket stocks and properly stock and display all materials.
In a state of flight disruption, liaise with all involved (guests and colleagues alike) in a positive manner and maintain revenue and guest satisfaction requirements.
Handle queues, PTA issues, TODs and re-issues in a timely manner

Requirements

High school graduate, two years airline or travel agency experience in a reservations and ticketing role. Etihad reservation system*AMADEUS* - courses in reservations and ticketing

Airline advanced passenger tariff and pricing course
Recognized IATA or knowledge in rules and regulation of airline restrictions
Good written and oral English language skills
Ability to work under pressure and to short lead times
Able to work on own initiative
Good PC skills include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet
Numerate


2.) Sales Representative

Job Purpose
You will identify and acquire new business from companies and through travel agencies. To manage existing accounts and exploit their full potential. Achieve individual portfolio sales targets. Promote EY products and services with corporate customers and distribution partners. Apply state-of-the art sales techniques and to set industry standards in terms of service to corporate customers and distribution partners.

Responsibilities
Furthermore you will be responsible to:

Monitors performance of defined area of accountability.
Regularly reports on progression of sales activities
Actively participates in assigned projects/working groups to develop further sales opportunities
Identify new business opportunities with corporate customers and distribution partners
Analyze business potential for EY with new potential accounts
Negotiates incentive contracts with corporate customers in order to protect business for EY

Requirements

Graduate with at least 2 years of sales experience in the airline or tourism industry.

In addition to above; you are required to have the following:

Proven track record
Motivated and results-oriented
Structured and problem solving approach to work
Good analytical skills
Good knowledge of the German corporate travel market and travel agency environment
Fluent in German and English (speaking, reading, writing)
Computer literate (MS Office)


3.) Office Coordinator

Job Description
Efficiently manage the office functions and associated administration supporting station management. This would also include infrastructure maintenance, purchasing and services supporting the operation. The position would include handling correspondence and performing projects that could be of a confidential nature, which must be maintained at all times.

Responsibilities

Manage travel arrangements & documentation for the Country Manager, other managers being supported and visitors.
Handle, respond to and/or distribute enquiries, phone calls, emails & correspondence as appropriate, keeping an accurate log & ensuring follow-up action is taken.
Coordinate and assist with the organization of conferences/meetings/training
Devise, update & maintain the office filing system.
Maintain office supplies, e.g. stationery, marketing & promotional materials, giveaways etc., keeping a stock record & ordering replenishments to maintain stock levels.
Maintain administrative records for leave, absence and duty travel.
Coordinates the airport security passes and car park passes.
Facilitate HR support for staff; updating staff database ensuring confidentiality
Prepare reports such as daily, weekly reports and controls the station petty cash; overseeing baggage claims and concluding the financial aspects.
Perform special projects.
Coordinates invoices with Finance, safe audit, Purchase Orders and monitors expense claims.

Requirements

Diploma level preferably in secretarial and/or administration courses with two to three years related experience preferably in an aviation or customer service environment.

Furthermore:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High computer literacy
Excellent creative writing skills


4.) Sales Support Administrator

Job Purpose
You will be responsible to provide comprehensive sales & marketing administrative support to the Sales Force. Ensure timely and appropriate communication with all stakeholders and speed to market in all deliverable actions that facilitate revenue generation in a cost efficient manner.

Responsibilities
You will responsible to:

Handle assigned internal sales accounts; handle trade telephone, fax & email enquiries; assist with organisation of sales events including briefings, training, awards & launches.
Order & distribute centrally procured marketing & sales material to the sales force.Production & distribution of sales communications to the travel industry (e.g. fare sheets, special offers, product briefings etc.)
Co-ordinate & file for approval all pricing deals, including corporate deals, & ensure the fare sheets/contracts are prepared & dispatched on time.
Input & constantly update & maintain records of all BSP requests, & provide timely feedback to the Sales Staff.
Provide marketing support to the sales manager, including liaison with HO Marketing & local comms agencies, assisting with delivery of ATL & BTL campaigns & materials.
Input & constantly update & maintain records of all BSP, MIDT, Flown Revenue or other statistical reports required to focus the sales Team.

Requirements

You should be able to demonstrate at least 3 year previous airline experience in sales or reservations, with expertise in administration preferred.

In addition to the above, you are also required to have the following:

Educated to Diploma standard
Amadeus Reservations, Sales skills
Good written and oral communication skills in English
Airline pricing
Culturally sensitive
