Job Vacancy at Anambra State University Teaching Hospital

Anambra State University Teaching Hospital, Amaku Awka - Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the following positions:

1.) Chief Account

Qualification
Candidates must possess any of the following qualification:

A degree in Accountancy from a recognized University plus, the professional qualification of any of the recognized
Accounting bodies OR
the professional qualification of any of the following Accounting bodies:
Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN)
Association or Certified and Corporate Accountants (ACCA).
Institute of Cost and Management Accountants (ICMA).
Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA).
Institute of Certified Public Accountants (ICPA). OR
Higher National Diploma plus the Professional Diploma of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN).
Please note that prospective candidates must have spent at least three years on the grade of Assistant Chief Accountant and must have attended and passed an Advanced Financial Management Course.
Experience in a Teaching Hospital will an advantage.

2.) Medical Officers

Qualification
Prospective Candidates must possess a degree in Medicine registrable with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria and must have completed the mandatory National Youth Service scheme (NYSC).


3.) Pharmacist

Qualification
Candidates must possess Bachelor of Pharmacy degree registrable with the Pharmacist Registration Board of Nigeria and must have completed the National Youth Service scheme NYSC.


4.) Nursing Sister

Qualification
Candidates must possess the Nigerian Registered Nurse (NRN) and the Nigerian Registered Midwife (NRM) certificates and must have duly registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.


5.) Medical Laboratory Technologist II

Qualification

Candidates must possess any of the following qualifications:
Associate Membership of the Institute of Medical Laboratory Technologist (AIMLT) of Nigeria.
West African School Certificate or Senior Secondary School Certificate plus the National Diploma of the Institute of Medical Laboratory Technology (obtained after four years course) plus the registration of the Medical Laboratory Council of Nigeria for Health Technologists.


6.) Medical Laboratory Technologist 1/Medical Laboratory Scientist I

Qualification

Candidates must posses any of the following: -
Associate membership of the Institute of Medical Laboratory Technologist of Nigeria (AILMT) OR West African School Certificate or Senior Secondary School Certificate and the National Diploma of the Institute of Medical Laboratory Technology plus three years cognate experience.
Fellowship of the Institute of Medical Laboratory Technologist of Nigeria (FIMLT) plus at least two years post fellowship professional experience.
Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science degree plus three years post qualification cognate experience.
A recognized Masters degree in Medical Laboratory Science plus at least one year post qualification cognate experience.


7.) Confidential Secretary

Qualification

Candidates must possess any of the following qualifications,

Higher National Diploma (HND) in Secretarial studies obtained from a recognized institution.
Senior Secondary School certificate or G.C.E, (0/L) plus R.S.A. or Civil Service Training School Certificate in shorthand and Typewriting at 120 and 60 words per minute respectively plus other prescribed subjects.
Certificate in Bilingual Secretaryship or equivalent qualification obtained from a recognized institution,
Candidate must be computer literate in Excel and Microsoft Word.
